Helloooooooooo! Am back with a late latif update! So so sorry for being this late but i was struck. Writers block and i couldn't write anything! But now am here with the update! But first of all here's a recap!
Recap -
Arya Prayduman a well known defence lawyer of USA is now back in India after 22 years... With her father ACP Prayduman. She has bonded well with the whole team in so less time. But as she comes back she starts discovering truths of her own life... From notes leading to abandoned bungalow... To hospital and then police station... Where she finds that her biological parents were killed by her own father, ACP Prayduman. In her dilemma she decides to go to her father and ask him all that was going in her mind but in those thoughts she faces a dangerous accident... She has told about her dilemma to her best friend Rahul as he came to India after knowing about her accident. Rahul went on to investigate the things further and for the same met Arya's biological father's lawyer Mr. Raghuveer Jagdishwar who told him that the fact that Arya's parents were killed by ACP sir is true. Also he told him about Arya's father's property which was transferred to Arya as soon as she turned 18 by him. But when Rahul went to LRO office he found out that the property was now registered under ACP sir's name and no more was Arya's. He comes back to hospital and tells all this Arya... Arya receives a shock of her life and in hurt and anger moves out from hospital and going home says a lot of things to ACP sir. Duo now know about all the happenings that have taken place. Arya files a writ petition against ACP sir in the court to reopen that 27 year old case where ACP sir killed her parents. ACP sir for some unknown reason is maintaining silence about all of these and denied even keeping a lawyer but then duo somehow trick him to sign a paper and make Abhijeet his lawyer. In the second hearing of the court ACP sir when questioned by Arya accepts that he had taken Arya's signature on the transfer of property papers by trick. And on basis of this judge suspends ACP sir and also orders SIT to take him in their custody for further questioning. Duo and team on the other hand have started with their investigation to know the truth. They met Raghuveer and Vikram (PA of Mr. Arun that is Arya's biological father) and came to know that Mr. Arun had made his will only a month before his death and also about some mysterious phone calls which were troubling Mr. Arun.

*Next day, 11:30 am, Beauro*
As Freddy entered the beauro Abhijeet asked him...
Abhijeet - Ha Freddy... Mile tum Insp Rathore se?
Freddy - Ha sir maine baat ki unse... Aur sir woh wohi keh rahe hai jo unhone 27 saal pehle kaha tha! Ki jaisi situation waha encounter ke waqt bani thi, koi yeh baat nahi samjh sakta tha ki Mr. Arun aur Miss Gayatri yaa jo bhi uss car mai hai woh uss gang ke members nahi hai. Sirf ACP sir ko hi nahi lekin unhe aur baki puri team ko bhi wahi galat fami hui thi ki woh dono bhi ussi gang ka hissa hai!
Daya - Great! Woh humare liye gawahi dene tayar hai na?
Freddy - Ha sir. Unhone kaha hai ki jab bhi zarurat padegi woh aa jayege court mai!
Abhijeet - Chalo kuch nahi toh ACP sir ki statement ke liye aliby toh mila!
Purvi - Lekin ab iske aage kya sir? Isse toh hum sir ko beguah prove nahi karwa payege na!
Pankaj - Ab tak humne jitne bhi raste apnaye sare jake dead end par hi katham hue! Na Advocate Raghuveer aur na hi Vikram ji humari koi bhi madat kar paye. Kare toh kya kare sir!
Daya - Vikram ji ne kaha tha ki Mr. Arun ko kuch calls aate the jisse woh pareshan ho jate the... Toh kyu na hum unke office ki talashi le? Ho sakta hai hume usse pata chal jaye ki unhe kiske calls aate the!
Abhijeet - Daya tum bhul toh nahi rahe ki court ke orders hai ki hum iss case ko investigate nahi kar sakte. Case mai involved logo se milna alag baat hai par Mr. Arun ka ghar, office aur baki sab toh SIT ne seal kar rakha hai na!
Daya - Par aur koi rasta bhi toh nahi hai na! Chinta mat karo. Mai aur Freddy aise jayege ki kisi ko kuch kuch pata nahi chalega.
Abhijeet - Theek hai. Par sambhal kar.
Nodding his head in yes Daya and Freddy left for Pune immediately while the remaining team got busy in other cases...
*3 hours later*
Daya and Freddy reached the closed office of Mr. Arun. It was a multistorey tower that once stood in glory representing the success of a young businessman. But now after negligence of all these long years it looked diminishing... Making sure no one was seeing them Daya and Freddy climbed up the closed, sealed main gate of the building and then slowly took a round of the building to find a place from where they could enter inside. Finding a cracked window pane besides what once used to be watchman's quarter they entered inside making sure not to leave any marks...
As they entered they looked around and noticed some desks, cubicals etc there which were now all covered in dirt. Wearing their gloves they took a quick glance through all of them and quickly moved upstairs. Checking out each floor on the way but not finding anything of their interest they reached the 8th floor of the building and there they found a huge cabin with the nameplate on its door with 'Managing Director - Arun Malhorta' written on it. Daya and Freddy entered inside carefully pushing the door open. It was a well managed cabin with a work table on one side, a couch on the other. One side of the cabin was a wall of glass that served as a window, which was covered with curtains that now had some spider webs on it. Behind the table was one cabinet with numerous files in it. The table had the usual things like a computer, some files, a pen stand, telephone etc. Freddy moved near the cabinet and started checking all the files one by one making sure not to leave any marks of his presence while Daya moved to check the table. He saw a photoframe kept on it which displayed a picture of a happy family consisting of Mr. Arun, Miss Gayatri and their little Arya. Looking at it for a while Daya now started checking out all the files kept on the table but finding nothing of importance he kept them back to their original places and now opened one of the drawers of the table... He found some more files in it. And some other important papers. Finding nothing useful he kept them back and as he was about to go to the other side of the cabin towards the couch the photoframe once again caught his attention. Picking it up he removed the family picture from it and as expected he found some small folded papers hidden in the frame. He pulled them out and once again inserting the family picture he kept the frame back on it original place and then one by one opened those papers. They were actually threats!
Daya - Freddy!
Freddy - Yes sir?
Daya - Yeh dekho...
Freddy - Sir yeh... Yeh toh dhamkiya hai. Kisne bejhi hongi yeh Arun ji ko?
Daya - Shayad ussi ne jo unhe phone kar karke pareshan kar raha tha. (Turning to the other page) Raghuveer ji ne kya kaha tha? Ki Arun ji unki family ke saath Lonavala 'ghumne' jaa rahe the?
Freddy - Ji haa sir... Par sir hua kya?
Daya - Yeh dekho!
He handed him over one of the those threat papers. On it, it was written...
21st March shaam 5 baje niche diye address par aa jana... Agar nahi aaye toh 21 ko jab ghar pohchoge toh apni biwi aur beti ko zinda nahi dekhoge!

Freddy - Matlab sir Arun ji Lonavala ghumne nahi jaa rahe the. Woh waha iss dhamki ki wajh se jaa rahe the!
Daya - Exactly!
Freddy - Lekin phir woh apni family ko kyu laker gaye?
Daya - Damki bhi toh unki family ko laker hi di gayi thi na. Usne dhamki hi yehi di hai ki 'apni biwi aur beti ko zinda nahi dekhoge'. Toh woh unhe ghar mai chodkar kaise jate!
Freddy - Lekin sir woh toh Lonavala pohche hi nahi. Raste mai hi uss encounter mai phas gaye.
Daya - Yehi toh woh chahta tha Freddy. Woh bas unhe uss sunsan raste par pochchana chahta tha jaha encounter hone wala tha.
After a moment Daya sir said...
Daya - Acha chalo dekho kuch aur milta hai kya. Phir nikalte hai yaha se. Agar kisi ne dekh liya toh problem ho jayegi.
Freddy - Yes sir.
After 10 more minutes of through checking of the cabin both of them quickly left from the building making sure they had left behind no traces of their presence.
*After 3 and half hours, Dr. Salukhe's house *
Team along with Veer was waiting there for Daya and Freddy as their duty hours were already over now and they wanted to discuss their further moves... Daya and Freddy arrived after a while and after settling down comfortably explained them what they had found in Mr. Arun's now closed office. They also showed them those threat letters which Dr. Salukhe was now inspecting carefully...
Salukhe - Nahi yaar... Isse toh kuch pata nahi chal raha! Normal paper hai yeh. Aur dhamki bhi print ki hai. Matlab handwriting ka bhi koi clue nahi. Obviously 27 saal purana yeh paper hai. Yellow pad chuka hai. Agar koi finger prints and all honge bhi toh mit chuke honge! Phir bhi mai kal isse lab le kar jauga aur waha phir se ek baar check karuga.
Abhijeet - Hmm app kar lijiyega ek baar check...
Daya - Isse kamse kam yeh baat toh clear ho gayi ki Mr. Arun ko jo phone calls aa rahe the aur jo yeh dhamkiya mil rahi thi inhi ki wajh se unhone achanak apni will banwayi. Iss dar se ki kahi unhe ho kuch ho gaya toh kamse kam unki family ka future safe rahe. Aur yehi baat hogi jiski wajh se woh pareshan rehte the!
Purvi - Par sir... Ek baat samjh nahi aayi... Yeh damki jisne bhi Mr. Arun ko di thi usse kaise pata chala ki encounter kaha hone wala hai? Yeh baat toh sirf sir aur unki team ko pata thi na!
Freddy - Ho sakta hai sir ki team mai se hi koi gaddar ho? Jisne yeh information usse leak ho!
Pankaj - Par sir yeh ho kon sakta hai. Uss team mai toh sare sir ke trusted officers hi the na!
Abhijeet - Hum abhi kisi par bhi vishwas nahi kar sakte Pankaj.
Salukhe - Hmm... Lekin jab tak yeh pata nahi chal jata ki woh kon tha jisne yeh information leak ki thi hum kamse kam court mai inn letters ke zariye yeh toh prove kar sakte hai na ki koi tha jo Mr. Arun ko pehle se hi waha bejhna chahta tha aur isme Prayduman ka koi haat nahi hai.
Veer was about to say something when Abhijeet said...
Abhijeet - Nahi sir... Hum yeh letters court mai pesh nahi kar sakte...
Tarika - Par kyu?
Abhijeet - Kyuki jab tak hume yeh pata nahi chalta ki yeh dhamkiya di kisne hai tab tak har galat chiz ka ilzam Arya, ACP sir par hi lagayegi! Aur toh aur yeh baat hum bhi jante hai ki sir aur unki team ke alawa koi nahi janta tha ki encounter kaha hone wala hai. Jaisa ki Freddy ne kaha ki ho sakta hai sir ki team mai se hi koi gaddar ho! Arya kahegi sir hi the woh!
Veer - (shocked) Daya... Please mujhpe ek favour karega?
Daya - Kya?
Veer - Yeh case katham hone ke baad iss Abhijeet ko apne beauro mai band karke rakhna please!
Abhijeet - Hain? Kyu?
Veer - Kyuki tum jis tarike ki baate kar rahe ho na... Bahar rahoge toh pakka meri dukan band karwa doge! Sir ka case ladna tha. Tum toh pure lawyer hi ban gaye! Yehi toh bolna chahta tha mai ki hum inn letters ko abhi pesh nahi kar sakte court mai!
Abhijeet - Kya yaar! Tu bhi! Aisa kuch nahi hai.
Veer - Kya kuch nahi hai! Khabardar jo tune lawyer banne ki sochi bhi toh!
Abhijeet - Bhai mere, tera court tu hi sambhal. Mai apne beauro mai kush hu. Abhi hum yeh discuss kare ki aage kya karna hai!
Daya - Pankaj... Ek kaam karo.
Pankaj - Ji sir?
Daya - Meri gadi mai 27 saal pehle jab yeh case chala tha na uski case file rakhi hai. Leke aana please. Yeh lo chabi
Pankaj - Yes sir.
And quickly grabbing the keys from Daya, Pankaj went out to Daya's car and brought the case file when Daya shuffled some pages in order to find something...
Salukhe - Kya hua Daya? Achanak case file mai kya dhund rahe ho?
Daya - Ek minute sir. Yeh dekhiye. Yeh ACP sir ka statement padiye jo unhone diya tha first time jab iss case ki inquiry hui thi.
He handed him the file while Dr. Salukhe read ACP sir's statement. But not understanding what Daya wanted to say he asked...
Salukhe - Ha toh isme problem kya hai?
Daya - Sir dekjiye... ACP sir ne kaha tha ki woh gang ki waha koi deal hone wali thi... Isiliye ACP sir waha gaye the encounter ke liye.
Salukhe - Ha...
Daya - Lekin dhayan dene wali baat yeh hai ki ACP sir ke hisab se unhe woh khabar unke kisi khabri ne di thi woh bhi encounter ke sirf 5 ghante pehle.
Veer - Hmm...
Daya - Ab yeh letter dekhiye jo Mr. Arun ko mila tha. (Taking out that one letter) Aur iss letter mai dekhiye kya likha hai. '21st March shaam 5 baje'... Hum iss tarah se date kab likhte hai? Jab woh date future ki ho yaa past ki... Agar hum kisi ko kahi ajj bula rahe ho toh hum likhege 'Ajj shaam 5 baje'. Ajj ki tarikh toh nahi likhege na... Matlab...
Abhijeet - Matlab yeh letter Mr. Arun ko 21st March ke pehle bejha gaya tha.
Daya - Ha Abhijeet!
Purvi - Lekin sir, ACP sir ko toh kudh sirf 5 ghante pehle hi information mili thi! Aur tabhi hi unki team ko pata chala hoga. Toh phir yeh dhamki dene wale ko pehle hi kaise pata chal gaya ki encounter kis din, kis waqt aur kaha hone wala hai?
Abhijeet - Matlab saaf hai... Yeh encounter nahi tha. Yeh encounter ek plan tha. Ek conspiracy!
Veer - Yehi baat toh Arya keh rahi hai. Woh bhi toh yehi prove karna chahti hai yeh ek conspiracy hai! By ACP sir...
Abhijeet - Yehi toh ek difference hai jo woh kehna chahti hai usme aur jo hum keh rahe hai usme. Arya galat nahi hai. Bas uske hisab se yeh conspiracy ACP sir ne plan ki hai aur hume vishwas hai ki woh aisa nahi kar sakte. Lekin iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki yeh sab jo bhi kuch hua woh conspiracy nahi thi... Thi! Lekin kisi aur ki...

ACP sir was sitting on the stone bench with closed eyes... His head resting on the wall behind... It was late evening and the lock up was pretty dark now. From away he looked to be asleep but on a closer look one would find out that he was actually awake. Outside some SIT officers were talking...
Officer 1 - Can you believe inhone Dev sir ki interrogation ke baad bhi kuch nahi bola? Jitna maine Dev sir ke bare mai suna hai na unse bach ne ke liye toh woh bhi apna crime accept kar leta hai jisne kuch kiya hi na ho!
Officer 2 - Ha yaar! Aur inhone toh sidha sir ki aakho mai dekh ke bol diya ki tumhe jaise puchna hai puch lo. Aur abhi bhi dekho kitne shanti se baithe hai. As if kuch hua hi nahi!
Officer 3 - ACP Prayduman hai woh! Tumhe kya lagta hai Dev sir se dar jayege! Aree Dev sir kudh ek time pe sapna dekhte the ki inki team ka hissa banna hai...
Officer 1 - Sach kahu toh mujhe toh vishwas hi nahi hota ki ACP sir aisa kuch kar sakte hai. Jab se police department join kiya hai na bas inki tarif hi suni hai. Aur woh insan jo apni duty ke aage kisi ki nahi sunta woh sirf paiso ke liye itna gir jayega. I can't believe this!
Officer 3 - Bol toh sahi rahe ho tum. Par ilzam bhi toh unhi ki beti ne lagaya hai na...
Officer 2 - Aree mere liye toh sabse bada shock yehi tha ki inki beti bhi hai! Maine toh suna hai ki jis CID team ko family kehte hai na unhe kudh nahi pata tha inki beti ke bare mai!
Officer 4 - (entering just now) Toh jo admi apne sabse karibi logo se itni badi baat chupa sakta hai kya woh apni beti ko dhoka nahi de sakta. Waise bhi unki koi sagi beti toh hai nahi woh!
They continued talking and he continued listening... Quietly... As calm as a quiet sea without any waves or even minute ripples. Soon his closed eyes took him back into the memory lane...
*Flashback*
It was only few days after Arya had come back from America she was sleeping peacefully in her room when slowly knocking on the door ACP sir came inside... Looking at her innocent face he smiled... How cute his daughter looked when sleeping! The way she was hugging her teddy. Yes yes a teddy! A 27 year old one of the deadlist lawyer... But she could never sleep without her teddy. ACP sir was admiring her when she changed her side in irritation... ACP sir noticing the reason for her irritation walked upto the window and pulled the curtain blocking the little ray of sunlight that was disturbing the sleep of his princess. She smiled in satisfaction when she felt no more sunlight on her face and then adjusted herself cosyly into her pillow. When after another one minute of admiring his daughter ACP sir came to realisation that he actually came here to wake her up. And slowly he moved to her and said lovingly spreading a hand on her head...
ACP - Beta... Chalo uth jao. Subah ho gayi hai.
Arya - (in sleepy voice) Papa bas 5 minute sone do na...
ACP - 5 minute ke 50 minute kab ho jayege pata bhi nahi chalega. Chalo utho jaldi!
Arya - Waise bhi uth ke bore hi toh hoti hu! App toh beauro bhaag jate ho (she complained cutely)
ACP - Acha toh ab beauro bhi na jau...
Arya - Ha mat jao (she said finally opening her eyes)
ACP - Aur phir kaam kon karega?
Arya - Kyu? Abhijeet bhai aur Daya bhai hai na!
ACP - Ha toh bhi. Mai bina matlab ghar par baith jau aur woh dono bichare kaam karte rahe!
Arya - Bichare nahi hai woh! Apka pehla gift meri gadi pe itna bada scratch kar diya unhone! Kuch toh punishment milni chahiye na!
ACP - Tum aur tumhare bhai! Tum log apni punishment punishment aapas mai hi nipto. Mujhe beauro jane do...
Arya - Mai jabse aayi hu apne ek din bhi mere saath spend nahi kiya. Mujhe kitni sari baate karni hai na. (With a crying baby face)
ACP - Ha toh kal Sunday hai na. Kal baat karege na
Arya - (now sitting) Aur koi case aa gaya toh phir se bhaag jayege app!
ACP - Ab case aa gaya toh... (He was going to say 'jana padega na' but then seeing the angry face of his daughter, he said) aree toh confirm thodi na hai ki koi case aane hi wala hai! Nahi aayega.
Arya - Huh!
ACP - Acha acha theek hai. Ab naraz mat ho. Kal agar koi case aata bhi hai toh mai nahi jauga bas. Abhijeet Daya sambhal lenge!
Arya - Pakka?
ACP - Ha pakka.
And happily Arya hugged his waist from the same sitting position exclaiming...
Arya - I love you so much papa
ACP - (spreading hand on her head) I love you too beta... Acha chalo ab mai beauro ke liye nikal raha hu. Tum bhi ready ho jao phir breakfast kar lena. Shayam ne bana diya hai...
*Flashback ends*
'I love you papa' was still ringing in his ears and next thing he remembered was 'do do khoon karke nayay ki murat bane ghumne mai sharam nahi aati apko?'. He opened his eyes slowly, saw those officers still talking about something and then closed his eyes once again making peace with the darkness that was now spread around... His mind once again taking him back into the beautiful past...
*Flashback*
Arya was watching TV in the drawing room... A crime thriller movie was going on and she was so engrossed in it that she didn't notice ACP sir had silently sneaked into the house and was now standing behind her. Just as the police officer was about to catch the criminal in the movie ACP sir kept his hands on Arya's eyes while she got stunned with the sudden act. ACP sir childishly said
ACP - Pehchano kon?
And Arya replied...
Arya - Ek bohot bure papa jo chot lagne ke baad bhi uchal kud kar rahe the beauro mai meri baat na manke!
ACP - Aree maine kya kiya?! (Now coming in front of her)
Arya - Zayada bhole mat baniye! Mujhe Abhijeet bhai ne bataya ki app beauro mai ek minute bhi chup chap shanti se nahi baithe! Meri hi galti hai! Jane hi nahi dena chahiye tha mujhe apko beauro!
ACP - (grumbling) Abhijeet ki toh!
Arya - Unko kuch bhi bolne ki zarurat nahi hai! Unko apki fikar thi tabhi bataya unhone mujhe!
ACP - Ha ha devi (joining his hands) nahi daatuga tumhare bhai ko! Sab team banake mere khilaf khade ho jate ho! (Sadly)
Arya - Acting toh dekho! Apko nahi lagta ki app galat profession mai ho? Apko actor hona chahiye tha!
ACP - Huh!
And ACP sir sat back onto the sofa as Arya went in the kitchen to bring him water.
*Flashback ends*
ACP sir couldn't help smiling lightly... The man everyone feared couldn't help but giving up in front of her. She was the only one who could literally scold him and would have to keep mum. Daughters are your second mother they say... 'Rightly they say' he thought!
*Flashback*
ACP sir came home after a tiring day at beauro and as he came inside he was greeted by Arya and Dai maa sitting on the dining table waiting for him... Just as he entered Arya pounced on him and dragged him to the table and made him sit on one chair...
ACP - Aree aree... Beta hua kya?
Arya - Maine na ajj apke liye khana banaya hai! First time! Khake batao na kaisa bana hai!!!
ACP - Kya baat hai! Batao batao kya banaya hai?
Arya - Aalo paratha! (She said grinning ear to ear)
ACP - Oho! My favourite! Chalo mai fresh hoke aata hu phir saath mai dinner karege.
Arya - Nahi na... App fresh baad mai hona pehle dinner karo na...
ACP - Aree par!
Arya - Please please please (cutely)
Dai ma - Aree ho jane de na unhe fresh utni der aur woh tere haat se bach jayege!
Arya - Bach jayege matlab? App bolna kya chahti hai da maa?
Dai ma - Nahi nahi... Kuch nahi!
Arya - Ha toh papa apke pass sirf 5 minute hai! Mai plates laga rahi hu tab tak app mujhe table pe dikhne chahiye samjhe!
ACP - Ha baba ok! Aa raha hu!
Arya - And your time starts now!
ACP sir went upstairs to his room nodding his head in no looking at his excited daughter and also came down quick cause he was himself excited to have aalo ke parathe! It was first time he was going to have something made by his daughter and he was bound to be excited...
ACP - Aa gaya. Lao do!
And grinning big Arya served him one paratha...
Arya - Yeh round toh nahi bana... Chalega na?
ACP - Ha beta bilkul chalega. Shape se thodi na kuch hota hai!
And after serving him Arya herself sat down in front of her own plate waiting for him to take the first bite. ACP sir had the bite and chewing it somehow gulped it down with some difficulty... It had too much salt in it. As he gulped it down Arya asked in excitement...
Arya - Kaisa laga?
ACP - Acha hai beta bohot acha hai!
He false praised her as he didn't want to make her sad by criticizing her first attempt for him. He smiled and somehow proceeded to take the next bite when Arya satisfied with her father's praise herself forwarded her hand to take a bite... When ACP sir stopped her with...
ACP - Nahiiiiii!
Arya - (shocked) Kya hua?
ACP - Aur kuch nahi hai kya khane ko? Tum yeh kyu kha rahi ho?
Arya - Matlab? Ajj yehi banaya hai. Toh yehi khaugi na!
ACP - Aree lekin phir bhi! Kuch toh hoga na?
Arya - Par kyu? Mujhe toh yehi khana hai!
And before he could utter anything else Arya ate the bite in her hand started coughing immediately! Gulped it down with the help of water and then exclaimed!
Arya - App yeh kha kaise rahe hai! Kitna zayada namak hai isme!!!
ACP - Kaha zayada hai barabar toh hai!
Arya - Papaaaa! App bhi na! Layiye dijiye mujhe! Mai kuch aur banake lati hu!
ACP sir and Dai maa - (together) Nahiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!
*Flashback ends*
Once again a sweet smile formed on ACP sir's face... While he whispered to himself... 'Kitni pyari hai meri Arnu'...
*Rahul's house, Arya's room*
Arya was writing something sitting on the study table when suddenly she felt as if ACP sir called him... Her eyes turned teary and without caring to wipe them off she stared at the paper and pen in her hand and whispered to herself tearly... 'Kyu kiya apne aisa?'

But as she comes back she starts discovering truths of her own life... From notes leading to abandoned bungalow... To hospital and then police station... Where she finds that her biological parents were killed by her own father, ACP Prayduman. In her dilemma she decides to go to her father and ask him all that was going in her mind but in those thoughts she faces a dangerous accident... She has told about her dilemma to her best friend Rahul as he came to India after knowing about her accident. Rahul went on to investigate the things further and for the same met Arya's biological father's lawyer Mr. Raghuveer Jagdishwar who told him that the fact that Arya's parents were killed by ACP sir is true. Also he told him about Arya's father's property which was transferred to Arya as soon as she turned 18 by him. But when Rahul went to LRO office he found out that the property was now registered under ACP sir's name and no more was Arya's. He comes back to hospital and tells all this Arya... Arya receives a shock of her life and in hurt and anger moves out from hospital and going home says a lot of things to ACP sir. Duo now know about all the happenings that have taken place. Arya files a writ petition against ACP sir in the court to reopen that 27 year old case where ACP sir killed her parents. ACP sir for some unknown reason is maintaining silence about all of these and denied even keeping a lawyer but then duo somehow trick him to sign a paper and make Abhijeet his lawyer. In the second hearing of the court ACP sir when questioned by Arya accepts that he had taken Arya's signature on the transfer of property papers by trick. And on basis of this judge suspends ACP sir and also orders SIT to take him in their custody for further questioning. Duo and team on the other hand have started with their investigation to know the truth. They met Raghuveer and Vikram (PA of Mr. Arun that is Arya's biological father) and came to know that Mr. Arun had made his will only a month before his death and also about some mysterious phone calls which were troubling Mr. Arun.

As Freddy entered the beauro Abhijeet asked him...
Abhijeet - Ha Freddy... Mile tum Insp Rathore se?
Freddy - Ha sir maine baat ki unse... Aur sir woh wohi keh rahe hai jo unhone 27 saal pehle kaha tha! Ki jaisi situation waha encounter ke waqt bani thi, koi yeh baat nahi samjh sakta tha ki Mr. Arun aur Miss Gayatri yaa jo bhi uss car mai hai woh uss gang ke members nahi hai. Sirf ACP sir ko hi nahi lekin unhe aur baki puri team ko bhi wahi galat fami hui thi ki woh dono bhi ussi gang ka hissa hai!
Daya - Great! Woh humare liye gawahi dene tayar hai na?
Freddy - Ha sir. Unhone kaha hai ki jab bhi zarurat padegi woh aa jayege court mai!
Abhijeet - Chalo kuch nahi toh ACP sir ki statement ke liye aliby toh mila!
Purvi - Lekin ab iske aage kya sir? Isse toh hum sir ko beguah prove nahi karwa payege na!
Pankaj - Ab tak humne jitne bhi raste apnaye sare jake dead end par hi katham hue! Na Advocate Raghuveer aur na hi Vikram ji humari koi bhi madat kar paye. Kare toh kya kare sir!
Daya - Vikram ji ne kaha tha ki Mr. Arun ko kuch calls aate the jisse woh pareshan ho jate the... Toh kyu na hum unke office ki talashi le? Ho sakta hai hume usse pata chal jaye ki unhe kiske calls aate the!
Abhijeet - Daya tum bhul toh nahi rahe ki court ke orders hai ki hum iss case ko investigate nahi kar sakte. Case mai involved logo se milna alag baat hai par Mr. Arun ka ghar, office aur baki sab toh SIT ne seal kar rakha hai na!
Daya - Par aur koi rasta bhi toh nahi hai na! Chinta mat karo. Mai aur Freddy aise jayege ki kisi ko kuch kuch pata nahi chalega.
Abhijeet - Theek hai. Par sambhal kar.
Nodding his head in yes Daya and Freddy left for Pune immediately while the remaining team got busy in other cases...
*3 hours later*
Daya and Freddy reached the closed office of Mr. Arun. It was a multistorey tower that once stood in glory representing the success of a young businessman. But now after negligence of all these long years it looked diminishing... Making sure no one was seeing them Daya and Freddy climbed up the closed, sealed main gate of the building and then slowly took a round of the building to find a place from where they could enter inside. Finding a cracked window pane besides what once used to be watchman's quarter they entered inside making sure not to leave any marks...
As they entered they looked around and noticed some desks, cubicals etc there which were now all covered in dirt. Wearing their gloves they took a quick glance through all of them and quickly moved upstairs. Checking out each floor on the way but not finding anything of their interest they reached the 8th floor of the building and there they found a huge cabin with the nameplate on its door with 'Managing Director - Arun Malhorta' written on it. Daya and Freddy entered inside carefully pushing the door open. It was a well managed cabin with a work table on one side, a couch on the other. One side of the cabin was a wall of glass that served as a window, which was covered with curtains that now had some spider webs on it. Behind the table was one cabinet with numerous files in it. The table had the usual things like a computer, some files, a pen stand, telephone etc. Freddy moved near the cabinet and started checking all the files one by one making sure not to leave any marks of his presence while Daya moved to check the table. He saw a photoframe kept on it which displayed a picture of a happy family consisting of Mr. Arun, Miss Gayatri and their little Arya. Looking at it for a while Daya now started checking out all the files kept on the table but finding nothing of importance he kept them back to their original places and now opened one of the drawers of the table... He found some more files in it. And some other important papers. Finding nothing useful he kept them back and as he was about to go to the other side of the cabin towards the couch the photoframe once again caught his attention. Picking it up he removed the family picture from it and as expected he found some small folded papers hidden in the frame. He pulled them out and once again inserting the family picture he kept the frame back on it original place and then one by one opened those papers. They were actually threats!
Daya - Freddy!
Freddy - Yes sir?
Daya - Yeh dekho...
Freddy - Sir yeh... Yeh toh dhamkiya hai. Kisne bejhi hongi yeh Arun ji ko?
Daya - Shayad ussi ne jo unhe phone kar karke pareshan kar raha tha. (Turning to the other page) Raghuveer ji ne kya kaha tha? Ki Arun ji unki family ke saath Lonavala 'ghumne' jaa rahe the?
Freddy - Ji haa sir... Par sir hua kya?
Daya - Yeh dekho!
He handed him over one of the those threat papers. On it, it was written...
21st March shaam 5 baje niche diye address par aa jana... Agar nahi aaye toh 21 ko jab ghar pohchoge toh apni biwi aur beti ko zinda nahi dekhoge!

Daya - Exactly!
Freddy - Lekin phir woh apni family ko kyu laker gaye?
Daya - Damki bhi toh unki family ko laker hi di gayi thi na. Usne dhamki hi yehi di hai ki 'apni biwi aur beti ko zinda nahi dekhoge'. Toh woh unhe ghar mai chodkar kaise jate!
Freddy - Lekin sir woh toh Lonavala pohche hi nahi. Raste mai hi uss encounter mai phas gaye.
Daya - Yehi toh woh chahta tha Freddy. Woh bas unhe uss sunsan raste par pochchana chahta tha jaha encounter hone wala tha.
After a moment Daya sir said...
Daya - Acha chalo dekho kuch aur milta hai kya. Phir nikalte hai yaha se. Agar kisi ne dekh liya toh problem ho jayegi.
Freddy - Yes sir.
After 10 more minutes of through checking of the cabin both of them quickly left from the building making sure they had left behind no traces of their presence.
*After 3 and half hours, Dr. Salukhe's house *
Team along with Veer was waiting there for Daya and Freddy as their duty hours were already over now and they wanted to discuss their further moves... Daya and Freddy arrived after a while and after settling down comfortably explained them what they had found in Mr. Arun's now closed office. They also showed them those threat letters which Dr. Salukhe was now inspecting carefully...
Salukhe - Nahi yaar... Isse toh kuch pata nahi chal raha! Normal paper hai yeh. Aur dhamki bhi print ki hai. Matlab handwriting ka bhi koi clue nahi. Obviously 27 saal purana yeh paper hai. Yellow pad chuka hai. Agar koi finger prints and all honge bhi toh mit chuke honge! Phir bhi mai kal isse lab le kar jauga aur waha phir se ek baar check karuga.
Abhijeet - Hmm app kar lijiyega ek baar check...
Daya - Isse kamse kam yeh baat toh clear ho gayi ki Mr. Arun ko jo phone calls aa rahe the aur jo yeh dhamkiya mil rahi thi inhi ki wajh se unhone achanak apni will banwayi. Iss dar se ki kahi unhe ho kuch ho gaya toh kamse kam unki family ka future safe rahe. Aur yehi baat hogi jiski wajh se woh pareshan rehte the!
Purvi - Par sir... Ek baat samjh nahi aayi... Yeh damki jisne bhi Mr. Arun ko di thi usse kaise pata chala ki encounter kaha hone wala hai? Yeh baat toh sirf sir aur unki team ko pata thi na!
Freddy - Ho sakta hai sir ki team mai se hi koi gaddar ho? Jisne yeh information usse leak ho!
Pankaj - Par sir yeh ho kon sakta hai. Uss team mai toh sare sir ke trusted officers hi the na!
Abhijeet - Hum abhi kisi par bhi vishwas nahi kar sakte Pankaj.
Salukhe - Hmm... Lekin jab tak yeh pata nahi chal jata ki woh kon tha jisne yeh information leak ki thi hum kamse kam court mai inn letters ke zariye yeh toh prove kar sakte hai na ki koi tha jo Mr. Arun ko pehle se hi waha bejhna chahta tha aur isme Prayduman ka koi haat nahi hai.
Veer was about to say something when Abhijeet said...
Abhijeet - Nahi sir... Hum yeh letters court mai pesh nahi kar sakte...

Abhijeet - Kyuki jab tak hume yeh pata nahi chalta ki yeh dhamkiya di kisne hai tab tak har galat chiz ka ilzam Arya, ACP sir par hi lagayegi! Aur toh aur yeh baat hum bhi jante hai ki sir aur unki team ke alawa koi nahi janta tha ki encounter kaha hone wala hai. Jaisa ki Freddy ne kaha ki ho sakta hai sir ki team mai se hi koi gaddar ho! Veer - (shocked) Daya... Please mujhpe ek favour karega?
Daya - Kya?
Veer - Yeh case katham hone ke baad iss Abhijeet ko apne beauro mai band karke rakhna please!
Abhijeet - Hain? Kyu?
Veer - Kyuki tum jis tarike ki baate kar rahe ho na... Bahar rahoge toh pakka meri dukan band karwa doge! Sir ka case ladna tha. Tum toh pure lawyer hi ban gaye! Yehi toh bolna chahta tha mai ki hum inn letters ko abhi pesh nahi kar sakte court mai!
Abhijeet - Kya yaar! Tu bhi! Aisa kuch nahi hai.

Abhijeet - Bhai mere, tera court tu hi sambhal. Mai apne beauro mai kush hu. Abhi hum yeh discuss kare ki aage kya karna hai!
Daya - Pankaj... Ek kaam karo.
Pankaj - Ji sir?
Daya - Meri gadi mai 27 saal pehle jab yeh case chala tha na uski case file rakhi hai. Leke aana please. Yeh lo chabi
Pankaj - Yes sir.
And quickly grabbing the keys from Daya, Pankaj went out to Daya's car and brought the case file when Daya shuffled some pages in order to find something...
Salukhe - Kya hua Daya? Achanak case file mai kya dhund rahe ho?
Daya - Ek minute sir. Yeh dekhiye. Yeh ACP sir ka statement padiye jo unhone diya tha first time jab iss case ki inquiry hui thi.
He handed him the file while Dr. Salukhe read ACP sir's statement. But not understanding what Daya wanted to say he asked...
Salukhe - Ha toh isme problem kya hai?
Daya - Sir dekjiye... ACP sir ne kaha tha ki woh gang ki waha koi deal hone wali thi... Isiliye ACP sir waha gaye the encounter ke liye.
Salukhe - Ha...

Veer - Hmm...
Daya - Ab yeh letter dekhiye jo Mr. Arun ko mila tha. (Taking out that one letter) Aur iss letter mai dekhiye kya likha hai. '21st March shaam 5 baje'... Hum iss tarah se date kab likhte hai? Jab woh date future ki ho yaa past ki... Agar hum kisi ko kahi ajj bula rahe ho toh hum likhege 'Ajj shaam 5 baje'. Ajj ki tarikh toh nahi likhege na... Matlab...

ACP sir was sitting on the stone bench with closed eyes... His head resting on the wall behind... It was late evening and the lock up was pretty dark now. From away he looked to be asleep but on a closer look one would find out that he was actually awake. Outside some SIT officers were talking...
Officer 1 - Can you believe inhone Dev sir ki interrogation ke baad bhi kuch nahi bola? Jitna maine Dev sir ke bare mai suna hai na unse bach ne ke liye toh woh bhi apna crime accept kar leta hai jisne kuch kiya hi na ho!
Officer 2 - Ha yaar! Aur inhone toh sidha sir ki aakho mai dekh ke bol diya ki tumhe jaise puchna hai puch lo. Aur abhi bhi dekho kitne shanti se baithe hai. As if kuch hua hi nahi!
Officer 3 - ACP Prayduman hai woh! Tumhe kya lagta hai Dev sir se dar jayege! Aree Dev sir kudh ek time pe sapna dekhte the ki inki team ka hissa banna hai...
Officer 1 - Sach kahu toh mujhe toh vishwas hi nahi hota ki ACP sir aisa kuch kar sakte hai. Jab se police department join kiya hai na bas inki tarif hi suni hai. Aur woh insan jo apni duty ke aage kisi ki nahi sunta woh sirf paiso ke liye itna gir jayega. I can't believe this!
Officer 3 - Bol toh sahi rahe ho tum. Par ilzam bhi toh unhi ki beti ne lagaya hai na...
Officer 2 - Aree mere liye toh sabse bada shock yehi tha ki inki beti bhi hai! Maine toh suna hai ki jis CID team ko family kehte hai na unhe kudh nahi pata tha inki beti ke bare mai!
Officer 4 - (entering just now) Toh jo admi apne sabse karibi logo se itni badi baat chupa sakta hai kya woh apni beti ko dhoka nahi de sakta. Waise bhi unki koi sagi beti toh hai nahi woh!
They continued talking and he continued listening... Quietly... As calm as a quiet sea without any waves or even minute ripples. Soon his closed eyes took him back into the memory lane...
*Flashback*
It was only few days after Arya had come back from America she was sleeping peacefully in her room when slowly knocking on the door ACP sir came inside... Looking at her innocent face he smiled... How cute his daughter looked when sleeping! The way she was hugging her teddy. Yes yes a teddy! A 27 year old one of the deadlist lawyer... But she could never sleep without her teddy. ACP sir was admiring her when she changed her side in irritation... ACP sir noticing the reason for her irritation walked upto the window and pulled the curtain blocking the little ray of sunlight that was disturbing the sleep of his princess. She smiled in satisfaction when she felt no more sunlight on her face and then adjusted herself cosyly into her pillow. When after another one minute of admiring his daughter ACP sir came to realisation that he actually came here to wake her up. And slowly he moved to her and said lovingly spreading a hand on her head...
ACP - Beta... Chalo uth jao. Subah ho gayi hai.
Arya - (in sleepy voice) Papa bas 5 minute sone do na...
ACP - 5 minute ke 50 minute kab ho jayege pata bhi nahi chalega. Chalo utho jaldi!
Arya - Waise bhi uth ke bore hi toh hoti hu! App toh beauro bhaag jate ho (she complained cutely)
ACP - Acha toh ab beauro bhi na jau...
Arya - Ha mat jao (she said finally opening her eyes)
ACP - Aur phir kaam kon karega?
Arya - Kyu? Abhijeet bhai aur Daya bhai hai na!
ACP - Ha toh bhi. Mai bina matlab ghar par baith jau aur woh dono bichare kaam karte rahe!
Arya - Bichare nahi hai woh! Apka pehla gift meri gadi pe itna bada scratch kar diya unhone! Kuch toh punishment milni chahiye na!
ACP - Tum aur tumhare bhai! Tum log apni punishment punishment aapas mai hi nipto. Mujhe beauro jane do...
Arya - Mai jabse aayi hu apne ek din bhi mere saath spend nahi kiya. Mujhe kitni sari baate karni hai na. (With a crying baby face)
ACP - Ha toh kal Sunday hai na. Kal baat karege na
Arya - (now sitting) Aur koi case aa gaya toh phir se bhaag jayege app!
ACP - Ab case aa gaya toh... (He was going to say 'jana padega na' but then seeing the angry face of his daughter, he said) aree toh confirm thodi na hai ki koi case aane hi wala hai! Nahi aayega.
Arya - Huh!
ACP - Acha acha theek hai. Ab naraz mat ho. Kal agar koi case aata bhi hai toh mai nahi jauga bas. Abhijeet Daya sambhal lenge!
Arya - Pakka?
ACP - Ha pakka.
And happily Arya hugged his waist from the same sitting position exclaiming...
Arya - I love you so much papa
ACP - (spreading hand on her head) I love you too beta... Acha chalo ab mai beauro ke liye nikal raha hu. Tum bhi ready ho jao phir breakfast kar lena. Shayam ne bana diya hai...
*Flashback ends*
'I love you papa' was still ringing in his ears and next thing he remembered was 'do do khoon karke nayay ki murat bane ghumne mai sharam nahi aati apko?'. He opened his eyes slowly, saw those officers still talking about something and then closed his eyes once again making peace with the darkness that was now spread around... His mind once again taking him back into the beautiful past...
*Flashback*
Arya was watching TV in the drawing room... A crime thriller movie was going on and she was so engrossed in it that she didn't notice ACP sir had silently sneaked into the house and was now standing behind her. Just as the police officer was about to catch the criminal in the movie ACP sir kept his hands on Arya's eyes while she got stunned with the sudden act. ACP sir childishly said
ACP - Pehchano kon?
And Arya replied...
Arya - Ek bohot bure papa jo chot lagne ke baad bhi uchal kud kar rahe the beauro mai meri baat na manke!
ACP - Aree maine kya kiya?! (Now coming in front of her)
Arya - Zayada bhole mat baniye! Mujhe Abhijeet bhai ne bataya ki app beauro mai ek minute bhi chup chap shanti se nahi baithe! Meri hi galti hai! Jane hi nahi dena chahiye tha mujhe apko beauro!
ACP - (grumbling) Abhijeet ki toh!
Arya - Unko kuch bhi bolne ki zarurat nahi hai! Unko apki fikar thi tabhi bataya unhone mujhe!
ACP - Ha ha devi (joining his hands) nahi daatuga tumhare bhai ko! Sab team banake mere khilaf khade ho jate ho! (Sadly)
Arya - Acting toh dekho! Apko nahi lagta ki app galat profession mai ho? Apko actor hona chahiye tha!
ACP - Huh!
And ACP sir sat back onto the sofa as Arya went in the kitchen to bring him water.
*Flashback ends*
ACP sir couldn't help smiling lightly... The man everyone feared couldn't help but giving up in front of her. She was the only one who could literally scold him and would have to keep mum. Daughters are your second mother they say... 'Rightly they say' he thought!
*Flashback*
ACP sir came home after a tiring day at beauro and as he came inside he was greeted by Arya and Dai maa sitting on the dining table waiting for him... Just as he entered Arya pounced on him and dragged him to the table and made him sit on one chair...
ACP - Aree aree... Beta hua kya?
Arya - Maine na ajj apke liye khana banaya hai! First time! Khake batao na kaisa bana hai!!!
ACP - Kya baat hai! Batao batao kya banaya hai?
Arya - Aalo paratha! (She said grinning ear to ear)
ACP - Oho! My favourite! Chalo mai fresh hoke aata hu phir saath mai dinner karege.
Arya - Nahi na... App fresh baad mai hona pehle dinner karo na...
ACP - Aree par!
Arya - Please please please (cutely)
Dai ma - Aree ho jane de na unhe fresh utni der aur woh tere haat se bach jayege!
Arya - Bach jayege matlab? App bolna kya chahti hai da maa?
Dai ma - Nahi nahi... Kuch nahi!
Arya - Ha toh papa apke pass sirf 5 minute hai! Mai plates laga rahi hu tab tak app mujhe table pe dikhne chahiye samjhe!
ACP - Ha baba ok! Aa raha hu!
Arya - And your time starts now!
ACP sir went upstairs to his room nodding his head in no looking at his excited daughter and also came down quick cause he was himself excited to have aalo ke parathe! It was first time he was going to have something made by his daughter and he was bound to be excited...
ACP - Aa gaya. Lao do!
And grinning big Arya served him one paratha...
Arya - Yeh round toh nahi bana... Chalega na?
ACP - Ha beta bilkul chalega. Shape se thodi na kuch hota hai!
And after serving him Arya herself sat down in front of her own plate waiting for him to take the first bite. ACP sir had the bite and chewing it somehow gulped it down with some difficulty... It had too much salt in it. As he gulped it down Arya asked in excitement...
Arya - Kaisa laga?
ACP - Acha hai beta bohot acha hai!
He false praised her as he didn't want to make her sad by criticizing her first attempt for him. He smiled and somehow proceeded to take the next bite when Arya satisfied with her father's praise herself forwarded her hand to take a bite... When ACP sir stopped her with...
ACP - Nahiiiiii!
Arya - (shocked) Kya hua?
ACP - Aur kuch nahi hai kya khane ko? Tum yeh kyu kha rahi ho?
Arya - Matlab? Ajj yehi banaya hai. Toh yehi khaugi na!
ACP - Aree lekin phir bhi! Kuch toh hoga na?
Arya - Par kyu? Mujhe toh yehi khana hai!
And before he could utter anything else Arya ate the bite in her hand started coughing immediately! Gulped it down with the help of water and then exclaimed!
Arya - App yeh kha kaise rahe hai! Kitna zayada namak hai isme!!!
ACP - Kaha zayada hai barabar toh hai!
Arya - Papaaaa! App bhi na! Layiye dijiye mujhe! Mai kuch aur banake lati hu!
ACP sir and Dai maa - (together) Nahiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!
*Flashback ends*
Once again a sweet smile formed on ACP sir's face... While he whispered to himself... 'Kitni pyari hai meri Arnu'...
*Rahul's house, Arya's room*
Arya was writing something sitting on the study table when suddenly she felt as if ACP sir called him... Her eyes turned teary and without caring to wipe them off she stared at the paper and pen in her hand and whispered to herself tearly... 'Kyu kiya apne aisa?'
